The Vivians you list suggest them being geographically close but possibly light years physically from my pedigree.
Can you make any connection with a James Vivian - Boat builder (in Bristol?) and a daughter, Mary Ann Vivian, born in Bristol in 1851?
I only ask because of the given name tradition that shows up in your collection, i.e. James's and Mary Ann's etc. Or is this just a reflection of a common name trend in that corner of England during that era?
