Hi Joan,

I read your email about the Vivian book and thought you might have information on my branch of the Vivians. My g-g-grandmother was Anne Vivian who married John Axford in 1828 in Gwennap. The witnesses were Matthew and James Vivian. However we have never been able to find out who her parents were or where she slotted into the family tree. Anne was born 6 june 1798 I think. She had 3 children that I am aware of
Elizabeth Ann Axford born 27 Mar 1829 Gwennap
John Axford born 13 April 1830 Gwennap
Joel Axford born 19 April 1835 Gwennap (moved to Australia my gggrandfather).

or even anything about Matthew or James Vivian the witnesses as they would have been relatives and another clue to the puzzle!

The Vivian name has always been very important in the family and it is traditionally used as a girl's second name in our family!

Thanks very much and I look forward to hearing from you!
