Dear Bettye,

I just saw your page, which I enjoyed.

I am tracking a very collateral line (probably related by friendship, neighborliness and religion rather than blood) to my Brock/Estes/Damron clan who went VA > KY > MO > TX.

Thacker Vivion was apparently a preacher who performed marriages very early around Sarcoxie/Joplin area of MO -- people from Newton, Jasper, Barry counties among others.

He married a Damron to a Brock; he seemed to have moved to TX at about the same time. They were in Caldwell, Hays, Ellis Counties. I believe he was close enough (as was Flavel) to think there may have been further contact. Also, both sets of folks were apparently tied in to the Fisher family (King Fisher being the notorious member.)

Would love it if you have anything furhter on Flavel's sibs, or on Thacker.
