Dear Sylvia, I more than understand wanting to find direct links first. Actually, I started this dialogue trying to do just that-- looking for my grandmother's family--Falcuccio (the "o" was dropped in later years). I found a Mariannina Falcucci Vitale mentioned and followed the lead. Joyce Mix posted the noted connection in the yr. 2000. I jumped in hoping that she would see this, or that one of her relatives would. I believe that this Mariannina Falcucci Vitale is my grandaunt, sister to my grandmother Zenobia Falcucci Tutela. If your Vitale relative was married to Mariannina, then we are on track. The Vitale who married Marianna was Crescenzo Gaetano Vitale, born 4/18/1868 in Grottaminarda, Avellino, Italy, son of Francesco Vitale, grandson of Antonio; his mother was Maria Giuseppa Siriguano. He Married Marianna Falcucci on Jan. 1, 1897. They came to US and settled in Boston. He was a stonecutter. If this is not your family, can you tell me if you have ever corresponded with Joyce Mix? She is the perosn I need to reach and I don't know how to reach her or any other of her relatives who may be doing this research. If you can advise me, I'd appreciate it. Good luck with your own search. It's great fun1 Rosalie Notify Administrator about this message?
