Hi Kevin,
I have been working to uncover long lost
ancestors and recently found a tie to the sur name Visel.
My Great Grandfather, Professor Ferdinand Buehler, migrated to this country at an early age from Oeschelbronn, Schwarzw, Wuerttemberg, Germany around 1850. He was the Professor of music at Saint Joseph's Church/school and taught the boy's of higher learning. One of his daughters, Caroline Rose Buecher, married my grandfather, Joseph Charles Essel.
Fredinand Buehler's fathers name was Michael who married Maria Visel.
As I have recently discovered the Visel surname thus have not had the opportunity to research said name though will in the immediate future.
