The Thomas Virtue I am referring to was a Private, Pennsylvania Volunteer with Co. G 1st Pa Reserve Infantry (30th Regiment) Union. He died in th battle of Charles City Crossroads on June 30, 1863. Thomas Virtue and my Great Grandfather, Isaac W. Clay were tent mates. I am NOT related to Thomas, but I have a letter my GGrandfather wrote about the day he died.
