J. Raymond Jones, 1899-1991

Hello,

I'm trying to find out about my great-grandfather, J. Raymond Jones. What I have so far is that he was born in St. Thomas in 1899 and went to NYC in 1918. From there he got involved heavily in politics, becoming boss of Tammany Hall in the early 1960's. What I don't know is overwhelming, to say the least. I don't know who his parents were, how far the family stretches back, how many children he had, or if there is still family in St. Thomas. If anyone has info about him, please email me at the above address.

Thank in advance,

Lagaria R.J. Farmer
