Vanterpool Family St. Thomas and Virgin Gorda?

Hi!
Got as far as my GGGreat grandmother, Teresa Vanterpool in a search for my family. She was from the Island of Virgin Gorda and was born around 1848. She had a daughter, Delphine Desilver (Possibly DiSilva or some other spelling) with whom she lived during the 1930 St. Thomas US Census. I'm guessing that Delphine was one of her youngest children as Delphine was 49 and Teresa was 82 during the Census. Any information that could be given would be helpful. Can also give information about the Ruan family (later called Reovan due to a rather funny/strange story I don't mind sharing)
