My Aunt Maria says she remembers Mae and also her mother Nellie. In fact she says Nellie and my grandmother Wanda were close and that Nellie came to our summer house in Sag Harbor, Long Island in the late 50's with another friend of theirs named Cresida. I may even have a photo that I will have to search out. She also said she remembered Clinton Simmons as being a white man and that he came from Saba. He and Theodore Mahoney were close friends and hung out at the Grand Hotel in St. Thomas where Theodore was the hotel manager. Also Bular did marry but she can't remember the woman's name and they had 2 children who died very young.
Thanks for all this - it's been a fun day!
