While tromping through an abandoned cemetery this past weekend looking for one of my ancestors graves, which I found,I also found a very large red granite stone with the following inscription.
George Vipond
Mar 2 1818
Jul 17 1862
His wife Sarah
May 28 1819
May 21 1911
This cemetery is named Ebenezer (not to be confused with the Ebenezer cemetery located near Preston/Montfort) and is located near Livingston, Clifton Twnshp, Grant Co, WI. I took a picture of the stone and will email it to any interested decendants. I am interested in Sarah's maiden name and how she may fit into the other 3-4 people buried there.
