I believe that Roland Vint's father was James Logan Vint. On October 25, 1851, Logan Vint of Fulton County, KY sold land to A.D. Galloway of Drew County, AR (for love and affection). The land in question had belonged to his son Robert Vint, then deceased. Also on the 9th of July 1851 Logan and Phebe Vint of Fulton County, KY sold land to James Mosby and Reason G. Puntney both of Bradley County. This land had originally been owned by Logan Vint's son, William. This would make it extremely likely that Robert, William, and Roland were brothers and that possibly a daughter had married A.D.Galloway. If you find any further information please let me know.
