I have been looking for David or Dillem Vinson (maybe Vincent) who relates to me through the following:

1. Dillim David Vinson m. Nancy Chastain

2. James David Vinson, born Oconee County, SC 12/31/1830, died 9/22/1922. Married Margaret Chastain, born 1828 in GA, died 2/18/1917 in Highlands, NC.

3. Thomas Jefferson Vinson, born 12/2/1855 in Henderson County, NC; died 09/3/1921 in Macon County, NC. Married Mary Caroline Teague, born 5/22/1856, died 2/13/1927, buried Newman's Chapel Graveyard, Franklin, NC. Thomas Jefferson Vinson was the pastor/founder of Newman's Chapel Baptist Church, Franklin, NC.

4. Thomas Columbus Vinson, born 6/5/1883, died 12/7/1973 in Dillard, GA. Buried in Newman's Chapel Graveyard, Franklin, NC. Married Delia Scroggs. Children: Elsie Leona Vinson* (1906-1996), Thomas Furman Vinson (1908-1991), Carl Monroe Vinson (1910-1971).

*My grandmother and source.

ANY information is appreciated. I have been looking for David Dillem for years. Have read of a David in Northampton, NC, but am not sure he is mine.

Thanks a bunch,
Diane
