Moses Vincent of Anson Co., NC
We believe Moses Vinson is the father of our four brothers; John Vincent and Jonathan Vincent (twins) born 1800, Charles Vincent born 1804 or 1805 and Reuben Vincent born about 1806. We found a Moses Vinson in the 1800 Census of Anson Co., NC with 2 children under age 5. We believe this to be our twins John and Jonathan who were born Jan. 1, 1800. Not very far away from this family, we found Rubin Vinson in 1800 Anson Co., NC. I believe this is the father of Moses Vinson. We have not been able to prove this by a marriage record yet, but we believe the mother and wife of Moses Vinson was Mary Barns.
