Do you have more information on Betty Elizabeth Dempsey? My Vinsons came from Alabama, but we have a signed picture of Jack Dempsey. It's written on the back, "I thought Raymond would like this." Raymond Vinson was my father. We don't know who sent the picture. Do you know if Betty is a relative of Jack Dempsey? This might be a link to my Vinsons as I have't been able to go past my great grandfather, James Davis Vinson who married Mary Magdaline Wilson in Alabama. I saw one census record in Alabama listing him as James C. Vincent.
