I think ultimately they are going to be related but how closely I cannot say. Many of the Vinings in New England appear to be descendants of the same Vinings I am married into and whose name was adopted as a middle name by some of my ancestors (how confusing!).contact me at susanscarcella@hotmail.com and I will send you what I have on the Vinings of Bristol Gloucestershire in the 18th and 19th century. cheers
