I have VINEY ancestors, all from Sussex, England as far back as I have traced - which is to John VINEY who married Elizabeth MITCHELL at Houghton, Sussex, on 17 Oct 1780. John was a grocer.
My direct ancestors from him are both Clement VINEY, both wheelwrights/coopers by trade.
My great grandmother was Sarah Anne VINEY (1833-1877)
