       1. Henry1 Villeneuve was born Abt. 1837 in Quebec, and died April 27, 1891 in Fallowfield, Nepean Township, Ontario, Canada. He married Elizabeth Chapman, daughter of Chester Chapman and Sarah Moore. She was born Abt. 1841 in Ontario, and died February 01, 1910 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Notes for Henry Villeneuve:
The 1852 census for Nepean shows a Henry Villeneuve age 15- born Quebec "living in a log house owned by Lewie Dubrie as a domestic servant"

The 1871 census shows Henry Villeneuve age 32 married to Elizabeth Chapman age 26. He was a carpenter & Joiner. His parents were born in Quebec. The family was living on Pat Lot, Lot 24, Concession 5, Rideau Front, Nepean Township.
Children listed as Isaac 11, Wm Henry 9, Sarah Mati 7, John Alfred 4, and Carolin an infant

The Villeneuve homestead was situated at the east end of Fallowfield, near the Coates Auto Parts Yard .. a white house on a hill belonged to a brother of Luke ... the homestead was about two acres behind this house

Notes for Elizabeth Chapman:
Lord Charles Lennox, the Fourth Duke of Richmond and Governor General of Canada 1818-1819 died at the Chapman homestead as a result of a bite from a rabid fox which he had received earlier in his journey.

Fred moved to Tupper Lake, Lawrence County, New York, changed the spelling of his name to Villnave and opened a lumber business.
