--Really about as clear as mud, isn't it.Possibly your best bet is to try some of these town vital records to see if you can properly identify the person you are looking for.One of the problems in searching colonial genealogy is the number of people bearing the same first and last names; the lack of a middle name, and how scrambled some of the town records are.
