Do You know : Ervin Burns 'The Old Ranger'/Jake

Hi,

I am trying to get information on my father. His given name was Ervin L. Burns, and acquired the AKA of The Old Ranger while serving, he also went by the alias Jake. He was killed 22 Jun 1967 in Kontum, South Vitnam as First Lt. in the Army, by ground casualty multiple fragmentation wounds hostile. I really would like to figure out what operation he was in at the time of his death, I have narrowed it down to a possible three (using the little information I have) . FRANCIS MARION 1-18 June 1967 Pleiku
. STILWELL 18-22 June 1967 Dak To / Kontum
. GREELEY 18 June - 14 October 1967 Dak To / Kontum

In his last letter, dated Jun 21, he wrote he was 70 N of Pleiku.

If you have any information at all, I would greatly appreciate it, or if you know a way I can find out about which operation he was in at the time.

Thanks,
Sheila
