Mr. Schultz ---
Was doing a little research after talking to my Dad about his experiences in Vietnam, and found your photos of FSB Henderson taken in 1970. Turns out, my Dad was the Battery Commander of B Btry 2/11 Arty that night (CPT Richard G. King). He's still not quite ready to tell me everything that happened --- but I think that night was when he got shrapnel in his forearm during the attack.
Question about the picture taken the next day: Dad mentioned there being parachute flares going off all night --- is that one of the 'chutes hanging off of the back of the arty piece in the pic (or can you even tell / remember)?
Many thanks for your patience --- hopefully this will get through to you... looks like it's been a while since this was posted.
Best wishes ---
