Well, Buddy, we won’t have any need to be embalmed when our number is called. Remember they used to put the same stuff in our bread. Your bread could/would not grow mold on it when it got old. I do not even think our bread turned green? There is always something out there trying to do you in.
We walked into a local restaurant and one of my people ordered a 333? beer. The sweet little girl told us “we were not 333 but number 10”. I told my people to act dumb as they knew we were low on ammo from problems earlier that were no big deal. Just another day in ones life.. That’s of course you don’t mind 50 cal. bullet holes the full length of your deuce and a half staff car. The males in the restaurant were already milling around and I wanted no trouble. Where else can you eat when you are staying in a hotel with no glass windows and bars on the windows and far away from a military base. If you wanted to get dysentery you drank their water. We favored the Korean restaurants. We did no drugs. You have to remember that ALL drugs were legal in their country. They had marijuana that came in packs like our cigarettes. They had “longs”, “shorts”, filtered or not. Fun Place, we were still able to get a good laugh, no-one can take that away from you.. I do not care what the Anti-Whatever people called us when we got home. I can still look at myself in the mirror and know we did our jobs. Some people feel that they do not need to be defended, good for them. They can yell a lot and carry a short stick. dc
