Hello,

No, Edward went MIA on 7/21/68. He was on his way back to the TU CAU BRIDGE. He had just left the 3/27 compound.

I have shared your question with a 2/13 Marine who has been on this search with me. I had obtained all of Edwards files ( Library of Congress ). I then shared them with my friend.....

This is the response from my friend after he read your post:

Actually we would like to know more about the SSGT MIA. If a SSGt was taken in the spring of 68, we would like to know who the staff was, when was he taken and where more exactly. Also was the Staff recovered and where was the staff recovered. The reason being that it might provide us and JPAC with insight on the Le Van Tra statement. Also when the site was visited in Booby Trap Alley, the locals said the body had already been recovered. If it was the staff, then it would mean that JPAC was looking in the wrong place for Willing. So ask the guy if he can tell who the Staff was? when was he lost?

Please feel free to email if you chose: racinyank@aol.com

Thank you for caring,
Patty
