Latasha,
Try the U.S. Army personnel records center in St. Louis, Mo. You can get the phone number from information (I thought I had it, but can't find it) Ask the operator how you would go about getting the information for your grandfather. I don't know if this will help, but they might be able to give you some other leads. When you see your grandfather next, tell him this Vietnam Vet (1st Battalion, 28th Infantry, 1st Infantry Division, Phouc Vinh, 1966) says welcome home "Top".
