My sincere thanks for replying to my query and reassuring me this was the right thing to do. Although I do not wish to impose bad memories, etc, I do think it's important to let families know we never forgot you soldiers! I have written letters to the addresses I was able to obtain with this soldier's unusual last name in hopes of finding the right family. I will certainly let you know if I am able to make contact!

Although my only son has now passed on, his best friend is now a Marine serving in Iraq for a second tour. Another young man raised in my home is in the Army as a medic getting ready to be deployed to Iraq also. Both call me Mom and I call them 'my sons'. I understand & appreciate the importance that all you soldiers performed. My heart felt thanks, Gary. God Bless you all.

Sincerely, Lynne
