Looking for Grandfather

Hi, you'll have to excuse me I've never tried to do anything like this before. I am trying to find out some information about my real grandfather. The information I have received is from an uncle of mine. All other family members are deceased.

My Name is Francine Lambert, my mother's name is Gloria Mae Lambert...maiden name (Laroe). We are from Lowell, Massachusetts. My mom was born in Newark, NJ. She was born in 1940 and now deceased as well. Her father (I was told) died in the war. I was not told which war, nor was I given any other information but the following:

Name: Alfred F. Boulet or Howard F. Boulet

The mother of his children: Margaret Laroe (Smith)
Her parents: Walter and Anna Smith

My grandfathers children's names are: Howard Walter Boulet
Karleen Stecchi(Boulet or Laroe?)
Gloria Mae Lambert (Boulet)

This whole thing seems so far fetched but I thought I would give it a try. Thank you. I can be emailed at Frenchilambert@yahoo.com...please put genealogy in the subject line...so I know. Thanks so much and God Bless!!!!
