I'll bet good money my father knows where Phu Cat is. He was Army Air Corps 68-69 flying Otters and Beavers (DeHavalind) between Da Nang and Quin Yon(sp?). His name is Benjamin Suydam. My cousin Ricky Huberth was shot down just west of Phu Cat in a F-4D during a close support bombing run. Radio transmitions picked up by U.S. said that they had one prisoner and one dead out of the aircraft. Neither body was recovered. Rick could possibly be a POW. No way to tell for sure. If you happened to know either one, drop me a line. Like you said, It's a small world. God bless the Vets!
Thank you,
Brian
