My family has a Francisco de Paula Vidal, from Barcelona. I don't recall but I think the time matches with your statement. In any case, there's a tradition in my family: it passes from the grandfather to the grandson (but not through the inmediate son). They keep ALL the records of the genealogy. Currently my father is in charge of the records. The only problem is that he doesn't speak english, he lives in Venezuela and I don't handle the information. It would be very interesting to get more information from his work. I'm the oldest daugther and my brother's son will be in chage of the family tree. The bad news is that my brother is still in his 30's... and worst...he's the only male (we are 5), meaning he's the only one able to carry on with the VIDAL last name.
