I came from the Philippines & there are many Vidals there too. We were informed that our great grandfather was a Spaniard. The Spaniards colonized the Phil. in 1620. There are many Vidals that look Spanish--we call mestizos. Our distant cousin is Cardinal Vidal of the Diocese of Cebu, Philippines. I would like to know more about our ancestors.
