Do not know if this will help, but I found this.......

DB 1 page 152
Richard Vick of Nash to Henry Vick of same April 6, 1784 for 5 shilling a tract of 400 acres on SS of Stoney Creek adjoining Watkins, Skinner, and Wester. Witnesses: Joseph Arrington and John Davis

This Richard Vick has more documents in this book/he is from IOW (Southampton) VA and he has a son named Benjamin Vick. There is a lot more information in the Nash co NC Deed Books on this Vick family and they appear to be connected to the Joseph Vick of Southampton/IOW VA from the documents that I have read. Anyone who does not have the information should probably look into this group of Vick family because their records in Nash Deed Books do have proven connections in the materials.
