After many years of service Di Ann VICK has moved to editor emeritus of the “Vick Family Newsletter.” Di Ann is also the coauthor (along with John D. BEATTY) of “Joseph Vick of Lower Parish, Isle of Wight County, Virginia and His Descendants.”
The Joseph Vick Family of America board has asked me to become the editor, and I have accepted. Pam VICK (wife of Austin Lafayette VICK) has agreed to be the assistant editor. We are finalizing our first issue of the newsletter (which should be mailed in early August), and we are starting to think about the next and succeeding issues. If you have something you would like to submit for publication or that you think could be used to prepare a story or article for the newsletter, please let me know. We would appreciate your ideas, suggestions, and information on not only stories and articles but also on how to improve the newsletter. JVFOA provides the newsletter to its members.
