Hi Brenda

I have been doing research on all the U.S. "Vib" lines (Vibert, Vibbert, Vibbard) including the Kentucky branch from which, I believe, the Tennessee people descended.

I am curious about the James and George you mentioned. Are they the sons of Peter Vibbert who settled in Franklin County Tennessee sometime before the 1850 census? I have about 11 children (most of them girls) listed for Peter and his wife Susan including a son James Harmon, born between 1823-1830 who served in the Civil War for the CSA. Also another son, George, born about 1847. Are these the James and George you are referring to?

If so, I would be very interested in any information you can provide on thse folks and happy to provide any I have that might be of interest to you.
