Hello - some more information about Vians. My Great Grandfather was Tom Vian who was a cabinet maker and had a son called Fred. Fred lived in Newbury Park, London and married Edith May. They had one son, Cyril Douglas Vian (27.10.1918)who married Betty Margaret Lawrence and moved to Taunton Somerset. They had four sons, Alan Douglas, Robert Clive, Geoffrey William (referred to as Jeff Vian the BBC Cameraman on the Antiques Roadshow) and Martin Lawrence Vian. All four sons have married and Alan has two sons, James Edward and Thomas William. Geoffrey has one son called Christopher. Alan lives in Wellingborough, Norhants, Clive on the Isles of Scilly, Geoffrey in Portishead near Bristol and Martin lives near Reading. Would love to hear from any other 'British' Vians.
