Hi Andrew

Thanks for the information.

Since last 'talking' to you I have obtained the Marriage Cert. of my Grandparents, James Toward VEVERS and Mary Ethel LEE. They were married at the Newcastle Registry Office on the 30th Nov. 1901. My Grandfathers address was given as 27 Sheraton Street, Ncle. That's all the confirmed Info. I have on them at the moment.

I'm awaiting my Mothers Full Birth cert. (only have the short version), to see where she was born, but I know that she was living in Ash Street, Benwell, when she got married.

Whilst looking through the marriages in the FHC I noticed that there was a Toward VEVERS married in 1900 and that threw me a bit off track, as my grandfather went by his middle name "Toward". I eliminated him though as he didn't tie in with my grandmother. It's a rather unusual name so maybe there is some connection somewhere along the way.

In the meantime I'm still following up my Fathers name, MAUGHAN.

Having said that, If you do come across any further information on 'my' VEVERS I shall most certainly follow it up.

Thanks again

Joy :-)
