My family is the Vest family from Mississippi. My grandfather, Hollis Andrew Vest, died from complications of alzheimers without leaving any genealogical information. I know that he had a sister and an older brother. His mother's name was Sara Anna Rosalie Allen Vest. My grandfather resided in Brookhaven Mississippi most of his life, and I know his great grandfather was a preacher in rural Mississippi. Does anyone have any information about this family. We have found a rare blood disease that effects my uncle and maybe my father that is passed on the male line, and we would like some more information about the history of the family.
