I know this thread is sort of old, but I am having the same problem as everyone else! I am connected to Robert Vernon (one of the Quaker brothers) and I originally traced the line back through Hugh Vernon to George Vernon to Thomas de Vernon to Richard de Vernon (m. Joan de Torbok) to James de Vernon. However, I can't seem to find any conclusive connections. I have done a few different variations of this one tree and I get stuck at George and Hugh...there is just too much information that conflicts with eachother!! I am extremely frustrated in trying to keep things straight. I appreciate the information you gave, though if you had the dates for them it would be very helpful!!! I have- from Hugh- information passed down from my family, if it helps...from Hugh (1579-1640) to James Vernon (1610-1675) to Quaker brother Robert Vernon (1640-1709). If anyone can help me I would appreciate it so much!
