That might be possible; however, Joseph and the youngest child, George, both died shortly after arriving in the states. They landed in Louisiana and then came onto Galveston. Margaret remarried to a Stovall. Some of Margaret's children married into the Stovall family, too. I remember my father telling me as a kid that two of Joseph's brothers were supposed to have been here and he was following them. We don't know for sure where "here" was or even if that is acurate. I did find Enoch on an earlier listing with Joseph and Margaret. And if you google Margaret Vernon you'll find a posting about her and her family. Plus a posting about the birth of one of their daughters in Chapel Le Firth, England. I can not for the life of me understand why they would leave their child in England and sail with all the rest. If you check on FaceBook for the Decsendents Joseph and Margaret Vernon you'll see a bunch of us. Most of the information there is from a family book that was put together back in the 80s. Enoch is not listed on the original family grouping.
