Yes, you have the correct Vernier family branch. I am one of Mandy's sisters. I would love to have a copy of your passenger manifest. My grandparents (Victor and Anna Vernier) had the original land grant signed by James Monroe which entails the property for the Belfort, Oh. area. They also had the passport of a Frederick Fainot who is connected to the family somehow I believe. I am trying to track down the person holding these documents and plan to make copies of them. I would love to have an information you have pertaining to the family.
