I came across this list of Vermillion marriages in Macon County, Illinois. Does anyone know how they might be connected to descendants of Giles?

I suspect that the Ellen Vermillion who married Edward W. Myer may be the daughter of Lorenzo Dow Vermillion and Martha J. Walker but have no confirmation.
