Can anyone tell me if the info below is correct and the names of their children.
Jessie Vermillion – b. 25 Oct. 1752 @ St. John’s or Piscataway Parish, Prince George’s Co., MD. – d. 2 Nov.1840 @ Russel Co., Virginia – m. 23 Oct. 1783 to Mary Scott. She was b. 30 Mar.1766 – d. 20 Feb. 1850 @ Russel Co., VA.
Jesse served in the Revolutionary War: pension #W6362. He enlisted in Caswell Co., North Carolina in 1777. He served as a Private in Captain Alfred Moore's Company, Col. Frank Nash's Regiment for 6 months. After returning home, he again enlisted and served 8 weeks against the Indians. Sometime thereafter, he moved to Jonesborough, at that time a part of North Carolina, later in Tennessee. Again he enlisted, served 3 more months in Captain Trimble's Company, Col. Servier's NC Regiment. He was granted a pension 2 Oct.1832. His widow was allowed a pension
6 Aug.1844. In 1849, Isaac and Rebecca Vermillion acted as a witness for Mary Vermillion, but did not state their relationship to the family.
