Samuel Vermillion b. abt. 1800

Looking for information on the parents of a Samuel Vermillion (b. abt. 1800 possibly in North Carolina or Virginia). In 1830 he was living in Buncombe Co., NC and by the 1840 census he had moved to Weakley Co., TN. He was married to Nancy ?? (b. 1815 in TN) and they had at least four children who were listed in the 1850 Weakley Co., TN census along with Nancy, who was listed as widowed in 1850. The children's names and ages in 1850 were Crockett, 17; Francis, 14; Martha, 12; and Nancy, 7 -- all born in TN.
I would appreciate any information that could be provided!
