Sorry, I got confused in my original post. My question was regarding a Rezin Powell supposed to be a son of Pricey Vermillion, NOT married to her. The issue is whether a man identified on a web site I've seen as my g-g-g-grandfather, Reason Powell b. 1811, son of Pricey Vermillion b. circa 1794, is the *same* Reason Powell as my grandmother put in her geneology chart as being the son of an unnamed female Vermillion, but with a birthdate of 1798 - in other words, were there two different Reason Powells with a Vermillion mother (*not* a Vermillion wife, as I put in my first post - I got totally confused for a minute)
