Nancy Browning, 3rd child of Francis Browning and Elizabeth Vermillion, married Archable "Archer" Jessee. They had a son Vincent who married Elizabeth Candler and they had a son John Tase "Taz" Jessee, b June 22, 1824. Taz married Mary M. Burke, b c 1824, Russell Co., VA.Mary and Taz had 10 children: Isaac M., Louisa Frances "Puss", Rebecca J., Ballard P., William/Wilburn "Wib" G., Sarah A., Edward Lee, Conley Trigg, Susan E., and Mary E.

Taz then had 7 children by Louisa Ellen Kelly:P John D., Nancy Alice, Charles Vincent, Nervesta, Martha Ollie, Robert Lafayette "Fate", and James Atkin.

These children and their descendants are documented in the book "Some Descendants of John Burk (1656-1699) Middlesex County, VA".

Mary M. Burk, Taz's first wife was the 4th child of William Burk, b Nov. 18, 1797 in Russell Co., VA and Rebecca Jessee. The rest of her Burk line: William, Fleming Burk, Sr.b 1767 Caroline Co., VA, Thomas Burk b c1731 Caroline Co., VA, Sr., Henry Burk b c1698 Middlesex Co., VA, John Burk b c1656 Middlesex Co., VA, John Burk b before 1633 England; immigrated to VA c1650.
