Hi, Donna,
I understand your mother's questioning of the possible Huguenot connections of the Vermillion ancestors. I will send you an e-mail wherein I will include some of the numerous speculations about the origins of the Vermillions. I know some genealogists believe the Netherlands to be the nation of origin of our family, but the evidence isn't conclusive on that, either. My e-mail should explain several possibilities . . . and there are several others, as well. Thanks for the reply.
