I'm looking for Vermillions living in Illinois during the mid-1800's.
Family legend says three brothers moved to western Missouri and settled
land near Butler, Missouri (70 miles south of Kansas City) in the 1860s.
James Clark Vermillion or his father, Allen Vermillion, may have been
one of those brothers. I need information on Allen (married Jane Jones) -
names of his children, and any other information about Vermillions who
settled in this area.
