I have a fair amount of Verlenden information. What I have on Edward is that he died on 7/7/1937 in Philadelphia and is buried at Arlington Cemetery, in Upper Darby Pa. His wife was Sarah H. Verlenden, born to Enos and Mary ? Verlenden. We have not identified Mary's family but maybe she was a Hays? The Verlendens were "mill people". Enos and his brother ran the Imperial Mills in Darby Pa. The husbands of several of their seven sisters worked as millmen for the company. Their father John Verlenden had been a soldier in the Napoleonic Army. He was sent to Haiti to quell the slave rebellion in 1804. By 1809 he had left Haiti and made his way to Elkton Md. where he married Elizabeth Wood-a nail maker's daughter. Son Enos was born in MD. in 1824 but moved to PA as a child.
We only had two children identified for Edward and Sarah Bolduc. I was in the process of contacting Arlington to see if we could find more info from the death records. I have lots more on the Verlendens and would be happy to share it with you. Bev W
