Dear Dr. de Aragon,
I am interested in any data that you may have uncovered over your many years of research on the children of William de Warenne and Joan de Vere, descendant of Robert DeVere.

I have recently been able to prove my husband's line of descent from 1066 (and beyond) in England through the many lines associated with the Charlemagne > William I Conqueror, the Plantagenet's, and 17 of the 24 Barons of the Magna Charta who left descendants.

I can prove through verifiable documentation all of his Barons save Robert De Vere even though all of the old records credits his American ancestor Olive Welby, as being a descendant of Robert de Vere as well.

The only line I have found is through one Griffin Warren (born abt 1400) whose daughter Margaret married William Mainwaring (this line traces back to William Longespee> Henry II > etc.).

It appears that this Griffin Warren was the son of William de Warenne (descendant of Hamelin de Anjou-Plantagenet/Isabel de Warenne)and wife Joan de Vere, descendant of Robert de Vere > etc..

I wonder if you have published your book and if so, what is the title and is it still available? And if you have any clue as to who this Griffin Warren and how he assends to Joan de Vere, I would be most grateful.

Donna Crosby
WA state resident as well...
