Priscilla DeVere was born 1590, daughter of John Devere, mother's name unknown at this time. Priscilla married John Groutte/Grout in Norwich, Norfolk. It is unclear whether she died prior to John Grout's emigration with the Winthroop Fleet to the Plymouth Plantation. John Grout died not long after settling in Watertown and his two sons, John and William Grout may have been taken in by Gov. Winthrop. Any information about Priscilla DeVere's family would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
