Anyone interested in receiving a ten-page research paper on the history of Sir Francis (1560-August 28, 1609) and Sir Horace (1565-May 2, 1635) Vere, two Generals of the English troops in the service of the united provinces of the Netherlands? Send an e-mail to J.Deaver@prodigy.net. I have original eighteenth century engraved portraits of both generals as well as Robert de Vere, Earl of Oxford who was slain at the siege of Mastrict in 1632. Upon specific request I could arrange to send photocopies.
