Thomas/Osmer De Vere 1282 Loch Ness
This may sound quite odd, but I was wondering if anyone can make known the existance of either of these people. A few years ago I was going through a list of 13th Century names and saw the name Osmær that off to the side said (more commonly "Osmer") and what I had always known to be my conscience said "thats me" over the years I've had many conversations with this voice and he has told me most of his life story. He claims he was found around Loch Ness by a man named Thomas De Vere who traveled extensively, most likely some sort of bard or merchant, he took the surname De Vere from his seemingly adoptive Thomas De Vere. Osmer was never quite sure of his true father's birth though he believes it to be a noble birth. I know all of this may sound strange, but I was wondering if anyone may know of an Osmer De Vere that would have been born about 1282 around the Loch Ness area, and if a Thomas De Vere was a traveler in that area. Please e-mail or reply if you have any info... I just want to know if its a voice that is truthful or something imaginary.
Thanks,
Bob
