There is, also, an Edward Dever in Charles County, Maryland in its early settlement time.His will was dated 6 Apr 1670, and probated 8 Sep 1671. Witnesses were: Ralph Coates, John Gosling, and Richard Hall. (Charles County, Maryland Wills, Liber A, No.e; folio 13-14)
An Edward Dever was born in 1586, in Portsmouth, England.His father was Francis Dever, b. 1558, Portsmouth, England, and Elizabeth Dent.There were Dent families living in Maryland at the time.Could there be connection?
